Secret Service
The Secret Service is concerned with counterfeiting, forgery, or the alteration of Government bonds, Treasury notes and bills, and postal and revenue stamps of various sorts. Misuse of all Government obligations with the exception of postal money orders demands the attention of the Department. Bankers are requested to communicate with the nearest agent in the speediest way possible when evidence merits the attention of the Department. Bankers are requested by Federal Law to take possession of any counterfeit money that is presented to them for surrender to the Secret Service.
